10 years ago, I uploaded a piece called "Africa calls" to Newgrounds. I never expected it to do as well as it did, and I certainly did not expect all the attention it got via Geometry Dash, as well as other games and projects. It's honestly been a very humbling experience.

You can never tell in advance what your art will get used for or who it might inspire. That's the thing I've always really appreciated about Newgrounds: it really is everything by everyone, but it might as well be everything "for" everyone.

Anyway, I digress, as I mostly wanted to use this blog post to express my gratitude to everyone who's listened to my stuff and all the constructive, weird and funny comments I've been fortunate enough to have received.

As a little "thank you", and mostly because I needed a good excuse to get some new samples, I have just released a completely new interpretation of Africa calls, called Africa returns.

Thanks again for all the support and I hope you'll enjoy this latest version!
